The British Heart Foundation (BHF) is the UK's heart charity with a mission to lead the fight for every heartbeat through pioneering cardiovascular research. It funds thousands of scientists carrying out more than half the UK’s cardiovascular research and its work has been central to the discoveries of vital treatments that are helping to change the face of the UK's fight against heart disease.
BHF is recruiting a Project Manager to work specifically on its Business Continuity and Smarter Working programme. You will oversee the coordination and administration of all aspects of these projects including the planning, organisation, staffing, and controlling of the programme activities.
Responsible for the delivery of the end-to-end business processes you will work with users and external partners to the BHF to gain an understanding of key requirements and frame solutions to address those which are appropriate in terms of function, costs timescale and benefits.
The successful candidate will have demonstrable hands on project management ability with a strategic mind-set able to categorise and prioritise projects within their respective portfolio. With a proven track record of successfully delivering projects you will possess excellent communication and organisational skills and ensure the scope of the outputs is aligned with the BHF strategic objectives.
Please note this is a fixed term contract for 1 year.
