Business Continuity Officer

Location: UK, Cardiff
Organization: Velindre Cancer Centre

This is a unique opportunity to join the Planning and Performance team to provide support to the Velindre Cancer Centre Senior Management Team in meeting their responsibilities for business continuity and emergency planning.

You will be able to work flexibly both within and outside of core hours to meet the demands of the service. The role will be providing 'hands on' support to clinical managers in the development and testing of plans. You will take the lead in developing a robust records management system for such plans and providing appropriate training support.

You will provide specialist advice, knowledge and expertise to aid the identification and classification of the risks, impacts and consequences of threats to organisational service delivery with regards to the Trust’s business continuity planning.

You will receive professional supervision and support from Trust business continuity leads and work closely with business continuity leads within the Welsh Blood Service.

Ability to speak Welsh is desirable.
