Daisy Group rolls out hardware upgrade

Daisy Group has made an investment of £3.5m in a hardware upgrade that will equip all of its 13 UK-wide work area recovery sites with 6,000 new desktop computers from Hewlett Packard.

The HP EliteDesk 800 G2 mini Business PC and i7-6700 ‘Skylake’ Chipset investment will ‘hardwire additional confidence and capability into Daisy’s offering and puts the Group at the vanguard of the business continuity industry,’ says the company.

Daisy’s Head of Business Continuity Operations Les Price said: “The level and quality of service that we are able to provide to our customers in their time of need is of the upmost importance to us. This is a major investment initiative which demonstrates to our customers a commitment to the continual enhancement of what we do and how we do it. It also signals our intention to continue to lead in the marketplace and to always strive to be the best.”

“It is extremely important for us to be able to offer our customers a standard, uniform and reliable experience, regardless of where they or their staff may be based throughout the UK,” added Price. “Partnering with HP to roll out the same capable and robust hardware to every one of our sites ensures our customers are provided with the best possible back up and support, when they need it most.”
