Preparis acquires Contingency Planning & Outsourcing (CPO) and CPOtracker

Preparis has announced that it has acquired Contingency Planning & Outsourcing, Inc. (CPO). The acquisition will add CPOtracker - the company's plan development and maintenance software - to Preparis' suite of hosted software and services.

Charles Pearson, CEO of Preparis said, "The acquisition of CPOtracker will provide the necessary tools to manage the tasks associated with regulatory compliance that are needed by almost every organization today."

CPOtracker is a preparedness management software tool designed to assist those who are responsible for developing and maintaining disaster recovery, business continuity, and emergency management plans. CPOtracker allows the user to develop and maintain plans, tasks and all other items necessary to respond to and recover from disaster situations.

CPO Founder and Certified Business Continuity Professional, Tim Lord said, "I am excited about Preparis' acquisition of CPO and believe Preparis' deep knowledge of the industry and customer service track record, will substantially benefit CPO's customers. As part of the transition I will be joining the Preparis team and look forward to leveraging their resources as we continue to grow and improve the CPOtracker solutions together."

With the acquisition, CPOtracker will receive a new name - Preparis iQ.
