European Network and Information Security Agency issues service continuity report

Get free weekly news by e-mailThe European Network and Information Security Agency (ENISA) has issued a report which seeks to capture business and IT service continuity best practices. ‘Business and IT Continuity: Overview and Implementation Principles’ aims to provide companies and organisations with clear guidance on the subject and will assist in the identification of potential network and information security risks to critical business processes.

ENISA’s report maps and compares the various standards and best practice documents related to this subject to enable organisations to understand which approach and infrastructure best suits their needs. In an effort to overcome the lack of common language across the different standards, the Agency has also produced a glossary which cross references different terms with similar elements.

The full report is available here (PDF).
