SunGard Availability Services has announced that it has agreed a strategic partnership with VMware, Inc. SunGard will leverage VMware virtualization solutions to help create a suite of simple, fully-managed AdvancedRecovery services, including managed virtual recovery services. These are expected to be available later this year.
