Business Continuity Analyst

The Business Continuity Program is responsible for maintaining a viable program to minimize disruption and ensure continuation of critical business operations during disruptive or crisis events for Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Louisiana and its subsidiaries at all geographical locations.  This position is responsible for supporting the Business Continuity Program in the development, management, quality assurance, enhancement and training/exercising of continuity plans for all business units to keep the company functioning after disruptive events.

This position will serve as a Business Continuity Program liaison with business, IT and administrative areas directly involved in the Incident Management, planning, continuity and recovery processes and may represent the department on other corporate projects.  This position is responsible for the development of information for the education and awareness initiatives of the Business Continuity Program and the coordination of these initiatives with other business areas. The candidate must be able to respond to a disaster and assist the company in response and recovery.

Accountable for complying with all laws and regulations associated with duties and responsibilities.
