To help us, we have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Resilience Manager to join our Operations team on a permanent basis. No one day will be the same and you will be joining at a great time where you can really influence change and shape the resilience landscape. You will develop and implement the best approach for John Lewis in accordance with the Partnership’s framework for business continuity management.
As Resilience Manager you will be pivotal in bringing together business continuity and incident management across two distinct areas - Retail and Distribution. The aim is to become a single entity that is Operations. To achieve this, you will need sound and developed business continuity / incident management knowledge, skills and experience.
This role will provide support in the development and maintenance of an effective business continuity management framework and to assist the Risk, Resilience and Safety Manager to establish robust business continuity plans and procedures across John Lewis.
The post-holder will review business interruption risk assessments and own the business impact analysis (BIA) programme, confirm the adequacy of the current plans, processes and recovery strategies including the delivery of training and rehearsals.
Candidates will likely be qualified to degree level and have at least three years' experience in a business continuity environment. You will need to influence a variety of stakeholders, including senior managers, so communicating effectively is key.
A business continuity qualification (eg CBCI) would be preferred.
