Business Continuity Manager

Location: UK, London

This role is part of the Global Business Continuity Team. Through clear, well organized and timely communication, the successful candidate will ensure that both their functional and regional managers are kept informed and that processes, reporting and controls implemented in Europe are consistent with the Global BCM strategy.

Skills and experience

  • At least five years of BCM experience gained via a senior role 
  • Strong team player who can collaborate and communicate effectively across global teams
  • Business focused with an understanding of operational workflows
  • Strong business acumen with a knowledge of Capital Markets across the trade lifecycle
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong judgement and problem solving , thinks ahead, anticipates questions and finds creative and appropriate solutions
  • Strong analytical skills to review processes, build process flows, and identify opportunities for improvement 
  • Ability to manage stakeholder expectations 
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, Visio, Adobe and PowerPoint
  • Excellent influencing and networking skills
  • Promotes a positive and cooperative team environment that encourages mutual respect, diversity,  productivity, innovation and creativity
  • Responsible for ensuring local and functional Managers are kept current and apprised of all relevant risk management and control issues.
