Business Continuity Management Specialist

A Business Continuity Management (BCM) Specialist is required by a highly-reputable organisation based in Newbury. The BCM Specialist will work across operational and delivery teams and will perform a central role in shaping the client’s strategy.
The successful individual will ideally have come from a technical background and will possess demonstrable experience of simultaneously viewing the big picture’ whilst also being able to roll up their sleeves and work with technical individuals to delve into the details. This client is looking for an individual who can come in and hit the ground running, someone with a strong technical acumen and who has a proven capability of understanding BCM, planning and resilience.

Job role

  • Embedding a BCM framework that enables the IT to respond to and manage potential or actual events that would have a negative impact
  • Developing a CCS IT Service Continuity Plan including team level BCP and Systems response and recovery
  • Developing a systems resilience / failover test strategy aligned to internal SLAs and industry standard / compliance requirements.
