EPRR and Business Continuity Advisor

The post of EPRR and Business Continuity Advisor is a new position within the Trust’s Corporate Resilience Team. Reporting to the Emergency Planning Manager, the post holder will be responsible for assisting in the delivery and maintenance of an effective Emergency Preparedness, Resilience and Response (EPRR) service across the organisation, ensuring that the Trust is adequately prepared to meet the demands of Business Disruption, and Critical or Major Incidents.
The post holder will provide specialist advice and support to managers and staff across the organisation to ensure a robust and resilient response to any incident or event. This includes tactical and operational direction and leadership, with responsibility for establishing and developing emergency preparedness strategies in accordance with the Civil Contingencies Act.
The successful candidate will have demonstrable experience of working within emergency preparedness. A high level of interpersonal skills, including the ability to influence, direct, negotiate and manage outcomes is essential, as is experience of preparing and writing reports and working to deadlines.
