Risk Management and Business Continuity Specialist

As the Risk Management and Business Continuity Specialist you will be providing leadership in risk management and business continuity. You will conduct environmental scanning to identify opportunities and risks for the business and apply expertise to identify, evaluate, recommend, and implement strategic operational/business solutions, initiatives, and innovations. You will inform and influence recommendations for organisational strategic planning and lead, or are a significant contributor to, programs or projects driving continuous improvement or change in risk mitigation and management.

Job role

  • Foster a "No Surprise" approach through a proactive risk management framework and robust business continuity plans and determine and monitor risk tolerance levels
  • Take a lead role in developing Business resilience across the organisation so that the safety of our staff and clients is maintained, service provisions continue and interruption to business is minimised; and
  • Lead the Prevention, Planning, Responding and Recovery of our Emergency management framework to address emergency situations that impact our staff, clients and organisation.
