Business Continuity Manager

The Business Continuity Manager will be responsible for the development, implementation and maintenance of Queen Mary Business Continuity Management System (BCMS). The role will involve consulting and engaging with key internal and external partners and stakeholders within the Business Continuity framework. You will identify and facilitate the escalation of critical issues that have the potential to expose the Institution to unnecessary and strategic risk.

Skills and experience

  • The successful candidate will have a proven track record of developing, implementing and continually testing and improving BCMS across large and complex organisations.  You will have strong experience of partnership working both internally and externally and be comfortable engaging with and activating a broad range of stakeholders across our academic and professional services communities.
  • You can demonstrate excellent working knowledge of risk assessment and management.  The successful candidate will have experience leading and managing effective service delivery, programme and project management and experience in supporting and delivering significant change and business improvement initiatives, including people and cultural change.
