Global Security Business Continuity Senior Manager

As a Senior Manager, you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution.

Job role

Governance and compliance:

  • Serves as the Global BCM Subject Matter Expert and provides support to the member firms and the development of their programmes, plans, and capabilities
  • Coordinates with Ethics & Compliance to maintain and develop the Network BCM Standards
  • Leads the annual BCM member firm assessment process governed by Ethics & Compliance; assesses each member firm and reports results to Global Security and Ethics Leaders
  • Manages non-compliance; reviews and approves continuous improvement and remediation plans for the member firms
  • Teams with Network Information Security and supports the Resiliency and Business Continuity Management domain in the Information Security Policy
  • Develops and executes a communication strategy to keep BCM community members across the network informed; conducts trainings, demonstrations, and presentations
  • Assists member firms with becoming and maintaining external BCM certifications
  • Identifies and manages annual objectives to advance the Global BCM Programme; coordinates risk strategies and controls with other Global Security disciplines and stakeholders
  • Coordinates BCM alignment with Global Security’s enterprise risk management strategies
  • Ensures the BCM and Travel Security Programmes have defined strategies with supporting annual objectives


  • Defines, implements, and maintains a global business continuity management system; records activities with a continuous improvement methodology
  • Serves as the Global Security team’s incident response manager
  • Develops global incident management plans within the context of managing safety and operational risks; teams with other risk owners to share best practices and to accomplish internal alignment and coordination
  • Works closely with the UK SOC and GRA Team and coordinates responses to incidents meeting a threshold; serves as the central point of contact for global incidents for member firms
  • Provides direct support to member firms experiencing a crisis or disruptive event; assists in mobilising resources and talent
  • Owns and manages the global technologies, platforms, and suppliers that support business continuity management; onboards and trains member firms electing to use these technologies.  Interprets contract terms for member firms and manages SLAs and KPIs to ensure an acceptable and effective level of service.
  • Maintains BCM programme documentation; ensures its availability to member firms.  Coordinates with Global Security team members to keep website updated.
  • Facilitates network BCM community calls at least once a quarter; develops and delivers training sessions as needed
  • Keeps abreast of industry developments and considers them for the network of firms
  • May lead or participate in initiatives and projects in other security programmes to help drive improvements and advancements with Global Security services and capabilities
  • Coaches the Travel Security Manager
