The position will coordinate with the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) function to identify potential risks and threats to the business and determine how to classify and measure these risks. Strategic risks (with a 3-5 year timeline) will be managed by ERM and communicated to the Audit & Compliance Committee (ACC) quarterly with the support of the Sr. Mgr BCM. Mitigations of operational and tactical risks are expected to be facilitated, promoted and embedded by the Sr. Mgr BCM across Nestlé in North America businesses to decrease the operational and financial impact in the case of unexpected events. Progress on these activities will be reported by the Sr Mgr BCM to the ACC on a quarterly basis. This individual is expected to manage one direct report..
Job role
Strategy & Development
- Establish regular reporting in respect of progress of implementation to North American / Centre stakeholders: gaps in respect of BIAs, BCPs, testing / key exposures / proposed mitigation actions with relevant stakeholders in North America and Centre
- Propose adjustments to global / North American BCP strategy
Program Implementation
- Communicate (develop where needed) guidelines, processes, tools, templates and governance structure and manage implementation on a daily basis
- Work with BCP contacts at site level to complete BIAs, BCPs and testing in “hands-on” / practical way
Incident Response
- Participate in crisis and incident events as they occur to support incident management teams, provide guidance, and after the event facilitate continuous improvement cycle
- Support development and execution of communication plans, including facilitate crafting messages, and identify appropriate sequencing and communication channels to inform the organization of impending crisis, and how the crisis will affect the organization
Awareness, Training and Exercising:
- Develop and execute training support plans and outlines, lead training content and materials development to support enablement
