The primary task of this key role is to focus on the Business Continuity & Operational Resiliency for UK Transfer Agency (UKTA) across all locations from an operational, and an oversight perspective. Reporting to the Senior Business Manager, the candidate will be responsible for ensuring the processes and procedures associated with critical activities are implemented and maintained to ensure a continuation of service. The role will also focus on the Operational Resiliency/disruption management of UKTA as an IBS (Important Business Service) The post holder will manage all Transfer of Work testing, all tabletop/disruption scenario testing, as well as the reporting and associated deliverables. The post holder will be expected to manage the secondary partner roles, and work with the operational teams to implement and deliver on training plans to ensure UKTA’s services are not at risk.
The candidate will have exposure to senior stakeholders in TA, Risk, and Control, and will be expected to succinctly explain the Operational Resiliency critical path for UKTA, be able to clearly articulate gaps/risk, and be able to appropriately challenge where necessary. The candidate will be involved in working through any identified gaps and mitigating actions. The candidate will ideally have a thorough understanding of the BCP tool (Fusion) and be able to navigate the tool to be able to challenge the data across locations, to ensure a continuation of service in the event of disruption.
This is a senior role which will also require a level of reporting and communication at a senior level. Operational Resiliency and business continuity coordination forms part of the Business Management team who supports system access, MI reporting, Oversight, issue management, internal audit, and UKTA Governance.
The team also performs oversight of tasks completed in India and support with UKTA on Operational Governance.
