Operational Resilience and Business Continuity Lead

A financial services client of Head Resourcing is currently looking for an Ops Resilience Lead to join their team, delivering resilient solutions, supporting colleagues and embedding resilience.

They are needing someone who can be Edinburgh-office based (approx. 2 days per week onsite), for an initial 6-month contract, with practical experience of Operational Resilience and Business Continuity. Particularly, they are looking for experience in evolving Business Continuity and Scenario Testing and approaches to align with new ways of working. Additionally, the role must be engaged via an FCSA-accredited umbrella company.

Skills and experience

  • Operational Resilience regulations - knowledge and practical experience of implementing these within an organization
  • Experience of Operational Risk and Business Continuity frameworks and policy management
  • Designing the change engagement approach for resilience
  • Implementing education and awareness support tools
  • Working with senior stakeholders and liaising with leadership across the business
  • Embedding an efficient and effective resilience culture through suitable processes and controls that work with colleagues in line with their operating model
  • Leadership skills, developing a team and building capability across colleagues in the organization.
