It is within this context that Canadian Blood Services is seeking an Associate Director, Business Continuity (Associate Director) to join the Legal/Enterprise Risk division.
Reporting to the Director, Enterprise Risk and Business Continuity Management, the Associate Director will provide professional leadership and coordination in the planning, management, development, and administration of Canadian Blood Services’ Business Continuity Management (BCM) Program.
The Associate Director will liaise with and coordinate the activities of all internal and external stakeholders to ensure the availability, integration, and currency of the BCM program and will support all planning activities necessary to enable the organization to manage a crisis event and/or disruption, as well as meet compliance requirements for business continuity planning.
Furthermore, the Associate Director will be responsible for establishing and maintaining strong relationships with various business management teams to effectively collaborate on identifying, documenting, and testing business contingencies to identify improvements and develop strong awareness of business continuity practices through effective training.
