The latest business continuity news from around the world

Vietnamnet has reported that a new initiative, US-VN sister cities, has been launched with a focus on business continuity.

Under the three year initiative, the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and its partner, Peace Winds America, will offer business continuity training to small and medium sized Hai Phong area businesses.

A pilot started in May 2015, with ten pre-selected pilot businesses taking part. These pilot businesses will serve as models for other Hai Phong businesses in preparing for continuity during future disasters.

Vietnamese trainers representing business associations, universities, and the government will join the pilot sessions for a ‘train the trainer’ program.
