Input invited for next version of the NFPA 1600, Standard on Continuity, Emergency, and Crisis Management

The US National Fire Protection Association has announced that a public input period is open for the initial draft of the 2023 version of the NFPA 1600, Standard on Continuity, Emergency, and Crisis Management.

NFPA 1660 is in a custom cycle due to the Emergency Response and Responder Safety Document Consolidation Plan (consolidation plan) as approved by the NFPA Standards Council.

The new 2023 edition of NFPA 1660 will combine NFPA 1660 with NFPA 1616 (Standard on Mass Evacuation, Sheltering, and Re-entry Programs) and NFPA 1620 (Standard for Pre-Incident Planning).

The deadline for public input into the first draft of the NFPA 1660 revision is November 13th, 2020.
