Coinciding with the UK's terrorism threat level being raised from ‘substantial’ to ‘severe’, meaning that a terror attack is ‘highly likely’, the National Counter Terrorism Security Office has released new guidance on managing business continuity.
The document, ‘Guidance, Managing Risk, Business Continuity’ includes the following sections:
1. Introduction: Managing the risks
2. Reputation
3. Neighbours and partners
4. Managing the risk
5. Legal requirements
6. Insurance
7. Further information and advice
The business continuity guidance is supported by another new document, ‘Guidance, Crowded places guidance’ which focuses on increasing the protection of crowded places from a terrorist attack.
