IIROC provides details of its 2021 business continuity planning test for regulated organizations

IIROC, the Investment Industry Regulatory Organization of Canada, has announced that it is conducting a two-day industry-wide business continuity planning test on October 23rd and 26th 2021.

The 2021 business continuity planning test includes three components: Crises Communication Centre (CCC) and Simulated Trading exercises on the 23rd and an Incident Response Plan (IRP) exercise on the 26th. The latter is a new item added since the last business continuity planning test in 2019.

As well as organizations regulated by IIROC, major service providers including the exchanges, ATSs, clearing agencies, routing services, and relevant regulators have also been invited to participate in the test.

More details about all three elements of the BCP test can be found here.
