Ian Livsey has become the new chief executive of the Institute of Risk Management. One of his priorities will be to raise awareness of IRM’s professional standards for members and champion its new certification scheme.

Ian has previously held chief executive posts at the Gangmaster Licensing Authority, the Centre for Rail Skills and the Guidance Accreditation Board.

Welcoming Ian to IRM, Chairman José Morago said, “Ian’s background in standard setting fits perfectly with IRM’s renewed focus on standards and professionalism for risk practitioners. We warmly welcome Ian to IRM and look forward to the benefit his experience will bring.”
