Witt O'Brien's, LLC, has announced the acquisition of Strategic Crisis Advisors LLC (SCA). SCA is a crisis management consulting firm specializing in corporate preparedness. SCA helps its multinational clients prepare for man-made and natural disruptions by developing robust crisis management programs that include innovative planning, training and exercises.
SCA has grown consistently since its foundation in 2014. It serves a range of Fortune 500 companies that include leading social media platforms, professional services firms, retail chains, universities, manufacturers and others. SCA will retain its Atlanta-based headquarters and its entire consulting team will join Witt O'Brien's.
"Our strategy is simple," said Tim Whipple, Witt O'Brien's CEO. "We are consolidating and innovating across both the public and private sectors, by attracting and retaining the best and the brightest in crisis and emergency management. We're delighted to welcome the SCA team to our growing family. SCA's proven success in the corporate realm extends our private sector coverage. We also believe that there will be strong synergies with Witt O'Brien's fast-growing government business."
"SCA and Witt O'Brien's share the same mission: to help our clients save lives and protect value by being as resilient as possible to disruption," said Grace Burley, SCA's managing partner. "We're excited to join forces with the industry leader. As companies and governments face more frequent disruption, we look forward to bringing innovative solutions to their complex needs."
Witt O'Brien's is a wholly-owned subsidiary of SEACOR Holdings Inc.
