Send Word Now opens Amsterdam facility

Send Word Now has opened a new data and communications data centre / center in Amsterdam. The expansion gives organizations located in Europe, the Middle East and Africa additional access to the Send Word Now service through a hosting facility located outside of the United States , while serving as a redundant solution for the Send Word Now data centre located in London.
"Send Word Now is again illustrating its commitment to meeting international market demand," commented Tony Schmitz, Send Word Now President and CEO. "We see organizations across the globe recognizing the benefits of mass notification and mobile collaboration technologies. This move will allow customers in the EMEA region to take advantage of a regional infrastructure while utilizing data centres that are not based in the US, which leads to improved system and delivery performance and compliance with EU Data Privacy mandates."
This data centre expansion is part of a larger global strategy by Send Word Now. Currently, Send Word Now has data centres in Secaucus, NJ, Chandler, AZ, Toronto, Ontario and London. Additional data centre openings are planned for Asia Pacific and Latin America in 2016.
