Irdeto and Clavister have announced a partnership to combine Clavister’s Next Generation Firewall (NGFW) solution and AI engine for zero-day vulnerabilities with Irdeto’s Asset Protection capabilities. The collaboration will enable end customers to monitor and manage connected transport fleets securely and remotely.
Clavister has long been securing transport infrastructure and critical applications as part of its public sector focus and working with long-term partners; and Irdeto’s long heritage and global footprint across multiple transport segments, such as automotive, rail and construction, brings a unique combination of skills and knowledge to extend both parties’ security offering further. The new partnership will also bring tangible benefits to customers of both parties by providing comprehensive network protection.
Niels Haverkorn, SVP and General Manager for Connected Transport at Irdeto, said: “As the pioneer of network security, Clavister has continued to build highly robust and adaptive cyber security solutions for the last 25 years. Combining this with Irdeto’s long heritage of building market leading cyber security products, it was natural for us to pursue the partnership with such an industry pioneer as Clavister, and we’re excited for our customers to tap into the benefits of this collaboration.”
John Vestberg, CEO of Clavister, commented: “At Clavister we pride ourselves on our ‘Cybersecurity made in Europe’ mantra and hold ourselves to the highest standards in providing an excellent service to our customers. We apply the same focus and diligence to our trusted network of partners, so I’m very pleased to be working with Irdeto on our shared mission of providing comprehensive cross-network security to our clients.”
