ClearView appoints new chief operating officer

ClearView has announced that Ian Crabb has been appointed as chief operating officer of the Group. With a career in business continuity management spanning over 25 years, he has held numerous director and senior management roles, in addition to providing independent professional services and programme management to a broad range of UK and global clients across all sectors.

Ian says "It is an exciting time to be joining ClearView, as the group continues to experience global success. Whilst this success is firmly based on the quality of our software products, it is also a reflection of the quality and passion of our people in supporting our clients through implementation, programme management, professional services and support. These are key to ensuring that our clients maximise the opportunities that software offers and realise the greatest value from their investment. I am looking forward to further developing our capabilities in these areas in addition to sustaining our proven, successful product strategy."

In addition, Alistair Buckley has been appointed as channel manager with specific responsibility to assist ClearView’s global partners in support of clients wherever they may be located. Alistair has significant experience in direct client support roles and he will work with the global partners to ensure that there is a truly 'joined up' service at all levels, to all clients.

Chief executive Charles Boffin says “We are delighted that Ian has accepted this responsibility which is a key role in our senior team. His knowledge, experience and significant capabilities will be fundamental to our continued rapid growth as we build our brand, business and client portfolio globally. And our appointment of Alistair endorses the importance that we place on the role that our global distributors play. We recognise that outstanding client service is dependent on the fact that we provide a truly seamless service, wherever our clients are located in the world."
