DRI International has announced that Trevor Murphy, CBCP, has been elected as the new DRI Commission Chair. Consisting of volunteers with expertise in business continuity and other resilience disciplines, the Commission is responsible for creation and development of the credentialing process for Certified Professionals.
“I am honored to be voted in as the new DRI Commission Chair,” said Murphy. “My relationship with DRI started in 2009 and quickly developed into becoming an instructor for DRI Malaysia. I hope I can bring my regional and global experience to bear, having worked within the commission for several years already. Seeing the dedicated work the commission does, I am looking forward to my tenure.”
“Trevor has been a longtime friend and supporter of DRI as a Certified Professional, an instructor, and a commissioner,” said Chloe Demrovsky, DRI President and CEO. “We are pleased to welcome him into his new role as Chair of the Commission where he will help us continually improve the execution of our certification programs.
