Airmic, in association with Control Risks, has published a new report looking at the ongoing COVID-19 response. The report ‘The pandemic goes endemic: learning the lessons, boosting preparedness, building resilience’ is based on a survey of 118 Airmic members conducted in November 2021. It looks at the issues surrounding current pandemic crisis management.
The report calls for organizations to:
- Learn the lessons – so as not to repeat the mistakes, such as those that characterised initial national and organizational responses to
COVID-19 in early 2020. - Boost preparedness – by continually scanning the horizon for the next emerging risks.
- Build resilience – in a way that puts organizations in good stead for the looping nature of the pandemic crisis.
