Acuity has announced a new release of its popular STREAM Integrated Risk Manager software. STREAM Version 4 provides users with a more configurable, scalable and easier-to-use approach to governance, risk and compliance (GRC) and delivers improved visibility and control over business risks.

STREAM increases the efficiency of risk and compliance management processes, allows better targeting of resources and reduces costly business disruptions, while also providing greater assurance and demonstrating a professional approach to risk management.

The configurable, scalable and easy to use software has been improved and extended in Version 4 with a range of new features including a Report Builder for custom reporting, a new API for third party data sources and exciting new ‘risk delta’ functionality for identifying and prioritising the control improvements that will provide the greatest risk return on investment.

STREAM is used world-wide for automation of risk registers, risk and control self-assessments and integrated management systems, including information security (ISO 27001, NIST Cyber Security Framework, PCI-DSS etc.); health, safety and environmental management; quality, project, supply chain and enterprise risk management. STREAM integrates data from third party tools with self-assessments and audits to provide a business risk perspective for senior business managers.

Accompanying the STREAM Version 4 release are several additions to the library of pre-configured content available for use with STREAM, including the NIST Cyber Security Framework and ISO 28001 Security Management Systems for the Supply Chain.

Acuity offers a free single-user licence along with a series of scalable single-user editions, typically used by consultants, and multi-user subscriber editions which scale from a Small Business Edition to an Enterprise Edition used by some of the world’s largest organizations.

STREAM is available as an on-premises deployment or as a hosted SaaS solution.
