Australian Government launches Disaster Resilience Knowledge Hub

Minister for Justice, The Hon Michael Keenan MP, has officially launched the Australian Government’s new Disaster Resilience Knowledge Hub.

Speaking at the launch the minister said:

“Today, I am pleased to launch the Australian Government's new Disaster Resilience Knowledge Hub – an invaluable source of expertise and information for government and communities working to prepare for, respond to, and recover from natural disasters.

“The innovative new website recognises that preparing our communities for natural disasters is a shared responsibility that is in the interest of every Australian.

“Developed by the Australian Institute for Disaster Resilience, the Knowledge Hub will provide our response agencies, business, volunteers and everyday Australians with a one-stop-shop for Australian disaster resilience information.”
