The latest resilience news from around the world

June 1st is the start of the 2015 hurricane season and to help businesses and individuals prepare FEMA has launched a new feature to its mobile app. The free feature allows weather alerts to be received from five locations, which can be selected anywhere in the country, even if the phone is not located in the area. This tool makes it easy to follow severe weather events as they develop.

The latest version of the FEMA app is available for free in the App Store for Apple devices and Google Play for Android devices. Users who already have the app downloaded on their smartphones should download the latest update for the new alerts feature to take effect.
