Complexity analysis: new ISO Technical Specification helps identify hidden organizational vulnerabilities

The International Organization for Standardization (ISO) has published a new Technical Specification: ‘ISO/TS 22375:2018 Security and resilience - Guidelines for complexity analysis process’. The TS ‘gives guidelines for the application of principles and a process for a complexity assessment of an organization's systems to improve security and resilience.’

Carrying out regular complexity assessments enable organizations to identify potential hidden vulnerabilities in systems and to provide an early indication of risk resulting from complexity.

ISO/TS 22375:2018 is applicable to all sizes and types of organization systems, and is particularly relevant to analysis of critical assets, strategic networks, supply chains, industrial plants, community infrastructures, banks, and businesses.
