A new white paper from the Business Continuity Institute sets out the Institute’s view that business continuity is an integral part of resilience.
‘The resilience challenge for the business continuity profession,’ written by the BCI’s 20/20 Think Tank (UK Group), aims to “help introduce the paradigm shift to resilience that we are currently experiencing.”
The paper states that building resilience goes beyond business continuity and requires substantial input from other protective disciplines and concludes that BCI members should realise that the business environment has changed dramatically and it is necessary to adapt in order to stay relevant.
