New business continuity facility opened in Mozambique

Global Continuity SA has expanded its geographical footprint beyond South Africa’s borders by opening a recovery facility in Mozambique’s capital and largest city, Maputo.

According to Greg Comline, general manager of Metrofile’s Global Continuity SA business, the economic rebound that Mozambique is currently experiencing is mirrored by the growth of business taking place. “Due to the fact that the country has experienced a tremendous amount of change over the years, we have seen a greater demand for the various services offered by Metrofile, especially business continuity planning and support,” says Mr. Comline.

The new facility in Maputo will offer local businesses a physical work area so that a business can continue operating as normal while it recovers from the business interruption.

Comline explains that the new office in Maputo is in line with the group’s strategy to expand its current offerings to better cater for client’s requirements on the continent as businesses look to expand their operations into new regions.
