Raxco Software releases InstantRecovery and InstantRecovery Server

Raxco Software has announced the launch of InstantRecovery and InstantRecovery Server, a high-availability system recovery solution for enterprise and small business use.

InstantRecovery introduces a breakthrough technology that redefines system recovery due to software corruption from a failed system upgrade or patch, application update failures, malware or a virus. With InstantRecovery systems are restored to a pristine and trusted state in the time it takes to reboot.

InstantRecovery captures an entire system including the operating system, applications and selected user data. Raxco claims that it makes system reimaging, OS updates, application re- installations and data restoration from backups unnecessary.

InstantRecovery works even when corruption renders the system unbootable, a distinct advantage over System Restore.

“Everyone has experienced a failed server patch or system upgrade failure. With InstantRecovery you can shorten that recovery time from hours to less than a minute,” says Greg Hayes, Raxco Product Manager. “Downtime costs money and software corruption cases typically take hours to remedy. InstantRecovery gets the OS, applications and important user files back up and running with a reboot.”

InstantRecovery’s patented Data Anchoring secures selected user files and folders so they are available under every recovery scenario. With Data Anchoring there is no more lost data or lengthy downloads from backups.

InstantRecovery is available immediately via the Raxco website at http://www.raxco.com/business/products/instantrecovery . Free, fully functional 15-day trials are also available. Single copy licenses of InstantRecovery are priced at $69.99 and InstantRecovery Server at $499.99. Volume discount pricing is available.
